Whiskey Sour Cocktail
Ingredients
- 60ml McKenna Bourbon
- 40ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 20ml Sugar Syrup (1 part caster sugar to 1 part boiling water, then cooled)
- 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
- 1/2 egg white (optional)
- Ice
- Lemon wedge for garnish
Method
- Add 60ml McKenna to shaker
- Cut wedge of lemon for garnish
- Cut remaining lemon in half and squeeze 40ml lemon juice in shaker
- Add 20ml Sugar Syrup
- Add 1/2 egg white (optional)
- Add 2 dashes bitters
- Add ice to rocks glass
- Shake and double strain into rocks glass
- Garnish with lemon wedge
