The dark malty character of this beer is similar to many old English and Scottish ales, and this beer was launched in 1992 to meet consumer demands for a 'dark' beer.
This dark malt ale is brewed with masses of roasted malt. The full-roasted malt flavour has a hint of chocolate and is balanced with extra hops and just enough sweetness. A perfect beer for those long cold winter nights.
